Wrapping It Up

July 24, 2012

Today's entry has been put up at Fierce Freethinking Fatties and concerns the post I made last week on Fat Folk in the Pagan Community. There's been a lot more discussion since then so head on over to FFF and check it out!

In non-FA/HAES related news, Monday's visit to the midwife was blissfully uneventful. Kat is still facing the wrong way, stargazing if you will, and her little foot is pressed most decidedly into my stomach, making eating and laying down on that side difficult. According to a conversation I had with my sister afterwards, all of the women on my mom's side of the family have had difficult labours and deliveries, including a lot of stargazing babies! I remember when I was pregnant with Gabe that my NP said that I have a body built for babies-so while maybe my body is well-designed to hold a baby, it's not so good at letting it out! I'm going to keep up the swimming and stretching and sitting on the edge of things and try to beat genetics if I can.
